Davy's Locker is pretty easy to find, if you really want to.
Located at 1149 E. DESERT INN ROAD its just a few miles from the strip. Quick cab ride gets you to Boulevard Plaza. A small dark strip of crime and convenient stores. Like the one a couple doors down from Davy's which I was hesitant to ask the clerk for change for a twenty because the cabbie didn't have that much on him.
First thing you will see is the HUGE signage, awesome old school neon from their beginning. Then a buzzer on the entrance in case the bartender doesn't recognize you. This is a great bar to talk with locals or just sit and play some VP at the bar. Selection of liquor was average to above (very cheap drinks) and the staff are awesome. I watched a Monday Night Football game there and enjoyed the razzing from a (non) Viking fan.
There's pool if you want to hustle up a game and there's a juke-box for tunes and a couple slot machines along the pirate themed walls.
The bar is "cash only" but they do have an ATM for those on their maiden voyage.
Bathrooms are down a narrow hall towards the rear of the bar, small but seemed clean kept up.
All in all I loved it but that's what I love, its run down on the outsides and getting old on the insides. Very friendly in a "locals" way. I would visit again and I do plan on it.

We love all new experiences, especially at small local or dive bars and lounges where one gets to really mingle. This page is dedicated mainly to stuff we've either stumbled (literally) upon or have been told to find by locals.
