Rinaldo "Dino" Bartolo bought a small bar with attached liquor store in 1962. The bar was already called Ringside Liquors but it soon changed to coincide with the new owner's name and "Dino's Lounge" was born.
The bar stayed very popular throughout the next 30 years, eventually being taken over by Dino's two sons, Chuck and ........ In 2001 Chuck passed away and Dino's Granddaughter's, Kristin and Casey, took over and they still run the neighborhood watering hole today at its original location.
Not too far off the Strip, actually it is on the Strip. Just a few blocks past the Stratosphere. I've walked there at night and felt comfortable, but I wouldn't suggest it every night of the week. Thur, Friday and Sat. they provide Karaoke starting at 10pm.
Open 24 hours, drink prices are cheap (avg.) for a local bar. Serving mainly locals, and a few curious travelers who seem to get lost getting back to the Stratosphere.
You can sit at one of the bar and play some video poker if you are so inclined, they OWN THEIR ______ VP MACHINES
They have ######### beers on tap and a huge variety in bottles, i would'nt consider ordering anything fancy but drinks are only limited to the bartenders imagination. %%%% 5 TV'S are great for watching sports or whatever holds your attention if you don't like pool or darts???????????
My latest trip was Sept 2017,
I love showing Dino's off to newbies so I couldn't resist when a Vegas enthusiast named Shane asked if I ever heard of the place. I was shocked, we grabbed another (mutual) Vegas enthusiast and decided to end the day there. "Red" was bartending, as he was my previous visit. He let us take some pictures and soon the bar got busy as it seems to do every night.
Over the years Dino's has won countless awards and been recognized as the best of the best in all the different newspapers and magazines as well as website polls, so Im not putting this place on a top 5 or top 10 (thats not really what I do), Just adding it to my list of the coolest neighborhood bars Ive been to.

We love all new experiences, especially at small local or dive bars and lounges where one gets to really mingle. This page is dedicated mainly to stuff we've either stumbled (literally) upon or have been told to find by locals.
