So I finally got to see the show I have been talking about for a month.
It was truly worth the wait. they started the show with a look back at the headlines of the era, and each performer (and I mean performer) had a small life story to tell as the show went on. The music starts and it is constant through out the concert, with no breaks just great outfit changes and a quick switch of lead singers to fit the next song. Songs from artist like Jagger, Joplin, Hendrix, Santana, Clapton, from The British Invasion to Psychedelic tunes, from Guitar renditions of the star spangled banner to Aretha Franklin's and Stevie Wonder's soul.
There is so much talent in this group, to pick out a favorite performer would be too hard, one could belt out the lyrics while playing bass and one could hit the tambourine and pull off a perfect Janis Joplin, while another could dance around stage in a full blown Mick Jagger routine. I want to make it know this is not billed as a impersonation act but they do such a great job with the songs you might think they are. They do a great job reminding us what the song sounded like.
I DO suggest seeing it.
